About
MEET THE FOUNDER
Maddie Lancaster grew up playing lacrosse in Lake Tapps, Washington. She was first introduced to lacrosse through her older brother. He and her dad started the first team in Lake Tapps. Her family then went on to help start the first lacrosse club - it is no surprise that Maddie too got bitten by the lacrosse bug.
Maddie started playing lacrosse when she was in fourth grade. At the time, there were no girl's teams in the area so she played on a boy's team for the first three years of her lacrosse career. Maddie then had the opportunity to play on the first girl's team in Lake Tapps and went on to help start the first girl's team at Auburn Riverside High School. After high school, she went on to play DIII lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. Maddie loved her experience in the midwest but Washington always seemed to pull her back. Washington lacrosse has always been very special to her, it is the reason she became the player that she is.
Maddie first started coaching select lacrosse in 2016 and have been coaching ever since. Lacrosse is still newer in Washington, especially in the South Sound and in Eastern Washington, but, it is growing like wildfire. Her goal now is to help put lacrosse sticks in as many players' hands as possible and give back to the community that gave so much to her. Thankfully, Maddie has been blessed with the opportunity to become the head varsity coach of the Peninsula School District women's lacrosse team. In addition, she also coaches for the Pacific Lutheran University Women's Team as a defensive coach, coaches individuals, coaches a variety of select teams, runs her own annual lacrosse camp and help programs with the coaching of defense in women's lacrosse. Now, she wants to spread her coaching services to even more people.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to not only spread the sport of lacrosse in Washington, but to also ensure that the sport of lacrosse continues to be honored through respectful play.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
When it comes to coaching, we emphasize the importance of a hard work ethic combined with dedication to the sport of lacrosse. I build these characteristics by keeping lacrosse both fun and challenging. We focus on the fundamental basics and build on top of the skillsets that players already have. As coaches, we believe that we are not only helping girls become better players, but preparing them for their lives past high school as well.
